Hi,
for one of my end user,
for some senders, when she forward received email, she cannot write anything in the forwarded email, because there is not blinking cursor above the sender text.
If I remove all the sender text, there is no much blinking cursor.
I tried, to disable signature,
I tried to install English .exe and .msi setup,
I re install (our) French .exe and .msi setup,
No way.
The workaround, was to add, at the beginning of our signature table, an line with "Regards", in this <td> tag we can write something, there is a blinking cursor there.
Computer is running Windows 10.
Thunderbird was, and is now again, 78.12.0
Thank you for helping.
[Edit]
She forwarded me one email with this problem.
With my Linux (Ubuntu 20.04 LTS) and Thunderbird 78.11.0, the problem is the same, no blinking cursor when forward.

Hi LIMPET235,
do you mean you move this post to https://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla_messaging/ ?
This is what I get with this forum : 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
or where else did you move it ?, I still view it in Thunderbird Bugs
Thank you.

Re: Forward > Cannot write : not blinking cursor
Sounds like Bug 1676928 -
Forward no longer inserts a text entry line above the inline forwarded message.

Hi,
@LIMPET235, ok, thanks.
I can see it's still in Thunderbird Bugs (re-loaded), and duplicated in Thunderbird Support.
According to WaltS48, it sounds like a bug, no ?
---
@WaltS48, thank you, I will tell my end user that way.
Thank you all.
