On July 17 I installed TB 1:78.12.0-1~deb10u1 on Debian.
When I started it up it asked for passwords for every account it tried to retrieve email from.
When I went to Edit>Preferences>Passwords the display was blank, no saved info, including passwords!
I installed a program that was supposed to recover passwords, etc. and it found all of the information but showed the password fields as empty!
I opened the signons.sqlite file from my profile and it appeared to have all of my email accts in there, but of course I couldn't tell if it contained the passwords or if the data was in the correct location in the file.
Can anybody shed any light on this?
Many TIA!!
Dennis

Re: Passwords cleared
When you entered the password did you also check the checkbox in that window to have the password manager save the passwords?
Look in preferences -> privacy & security -> passwords -> saved passwords to see saved logins.

Yes. I have been using TB for l1terally years and years!
It has always worked pretty much flawlessly until now.
It appears that all logins and passwords for all my email accounts were wiped out when I installed TB 1:78.12.0-1~deb10u1.
