Pinning emails(?)

Post by Colstar »

Is there a feature that allows you to pin emails to the top of the page like in Outlook?

I'm not familiar with that Outlook feature but I don't think something like that exists in Thunderbird. You can customize the main toolbar (right click on it, select customize, drag & drop desired widget, press done button) to add a Views widget that lets you create/select custom views. That would make it easy to quickly switch to a view that lists specific messages. The easiest way to specify these messages would be to assign a custom tag to them.

You could also search for messages with that tag in quick search, or create a custom search folder that acts like it contains a copy of any messages with a specific tag. The latter doesn't change where the message is stored, its a virtual folder. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/us ... d-searches
