On startup of Thunderbird 78.14.0 (32 bit), a file is created in the profile root with name .startup-incomplete This file seems empty, at least when trying to open with Notepad on WIN10. Thunderbird works fine without any problems. As soon as I close it, this file is deleted but appears again next time I start.
Is this anything to worry about? - or just keep going. Maybe change to a 64-bit version?

Re: .startup-incomplete
I don't see that file on my laptop but I'm running version 91.1.1. I doubt its specific to a 32bit installation. However, there are several files in the profile root that Thunderbird creates on startup and deletes when shutting down such as parent.lock (a lock file used to determine if another instance of Thunderbird is already running). I suggest you ignore it.
