pop up alert enail arrived

hi there

I am running the latest version of TB and win 10 pro

When a message arrives I have a pop up alert in the bottom right hand show, which is good, BUT, it stays there for far to long.
I want to reduce the time the pop up stays open.

I have looked through preferences and settings, but see no selection there for changing the length of time the alert remains open.

I thought there used be a "option" choice in the "tools" menu, but I don't see that anymore.

Try this:

Menu Bar > Tools > Preferences > General > Incoming Mails

* [check] Show an alert
* [uncheck] Use the system notification
* [click] Customize > Show New Mail Alert for [ 5 ] seconds

That option changes the alerts.totalOpenTime preference to 5000.

I was so close m8
BUT, I didnt click on the customize, will know next time

Funny, it was set to 2 seconds, seems to me it was more like 15-30 seconds
Anyhows, I changed it to 1 second
