Synch contacts to/from Outlook.com

I'm having difficulty getting my contacts synched from Google via gContactSync after years of having this work properly. Instead I could load my contacts on outlook.com if there is a way to synch them to Thunderbird from the website. I haven't seen any add-on that does this.

I installed TbSync and Active Sync and have gotten my contacts to download. Now how do I get the TB mail client to recognize the contacts that I have downloaded when I start an email?

Do you have address autocomplete enabled in Options/Composition? Or, show the Contacts sidebar (F9 in a Write window).

I didn't have the live.com selected as the default list. Thanks for the help.
