Re: exporting a folder
When I try it it imports it into the currently selected folder in Local Folders. It had been a while since I used that feature, it used to create a child folder for you in the currently selected account and import into it.

Re: exporting a folder
I right clicked on Local Folders and created a new folder. I right clicked and found the import selection no longer greyed out. There were two options to import directly from a directory and also from subdirectories. I tried the former which didn't work. The latter did import the correct number of emails, but the folder shows a tiny orange circle with possibly an exclamation mark in it, on the top left of the folder rectangle. When I click on the folder it is empty.
I need to do this project, so I have to keep asking and hope to find out how to do this. Thanks for your efforts so far.
