Where did the words go? (icon labels)

Post by quickquestion »

When I'm looking through my emails, in the upper right there are some buttons for various actions: reply, delete, etc. This is when I'm scrolling through emails, not have an email opened in a separate window. I think those buttons used to have words on them as well as an icon. They're gone - how do I get them back? Thank you.

You can show toolbar button icon labels with the following settings.

Menu Bar > View > Toolbars > Customize

Show: Icons and Text
Show: Icons beside Text

You can use the following addon to customize the message header view toolbar.

It's not the toolbar, but the icons in each email.

I figured out that if the window is wide enough they will display. I must have resized the window somehow, just too small to show them. I made it wider and they displayed with the icon and the word again.
