Quickview funtionality partially gone

Post by esoul »

Usually when I type text into the quickfilter textbox, I can filter by recipients, subject etc. But the bar ist gone, where you can pick by which attributes to filter the emails. As you can see in this video.

Additionally, in troubleshooting mode, I cannot make the quickview filter appear. The menu entries and buttons, do not do anything.

I've tried this, with no changes.

What version of Thunderbird are you running there?

Here is how thunderbird behaves in troubleshooting mode. As described in the first post.

The Quick Filter visible status is stored in the session.json file in the profile folder.

Could the issue be caused by a corrupted session.json file?

Try tanstaafl's solution: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=3061061
