New account has renamed itself ???

Hi, I Recently migrated to a new host, new accounts were setup within TB, and emails 'copied to' the new inbox and sent folders, folders were also then copied to the new account.

Once moved, old accounts were then deleted.

After a few days, it looks like one of the new accounts has randomly renamed itself after one of the old accounts, the host is the new host name, but when you start TB, a dialogue box for the old account appears - advising it wants to login to the old host address, and is asking for a password !

Obviously the new account is not working (the Old accounts host account has already been deleted.

Any one know what is going on here ??

What version of Thunderbird? Check that using menu path Help->More Troubleshooting Information.

Apologies for late reply, version is: 91.11.0

Check under menu path Tools-Preferences->Privacy and Security->Saved Passwords and Remove any entries referring to the old account names.

Thanks, found some server passwords for the previously migrated from host, which looked relevant and related to the problem, deleted those, also deleted the mail account that had renamed itself, also found some Calendars that were trying to communicate with 'Horde CALDAV Server', unsubscribed those.

Added account back in and down loaded emails.

So far all good, no old server login requests, and the just added account has not renamed itself, will keep an eye on things, as last time the renaming and the old account password requests happened after a few days.
