@mentions someone inside an email not working

Hi to all,
To mention someone inside the text of an email, you need to type @somenodyname in the message. You can start by typing the @ character — a popup menu will appear with a list of all users in your address book.
If you want to know more, try this in Gmail.
I think this feature was working before v102, but now it seems not.
Did anybody try this?
Could anyone give me any clue about how to solve it?.
