Can only move 2 folders at once on IMAP account

Post by dinoroar »

- I'm trying to move a huge number of folders into a destination folder.
- The folders being moved are all siblings, so to select them I hold down ctrl and click the folders to move.
- Then I drag them to the destination folder. On IMAP it moves 2 of the selected, then stops. On a local POP3 account, it seems to work for all of them.[/list]

Why does it only work for 2 on IMAP then stop? Yet it works for POP3.

And solutions/workarounds to make this work?

In the POP account you are working with data on the local computer. In the IMAP account you are working with data stored remotely on the server. Apparently your provider's server is the element blocking action on more than two folders at a time.
