Moving T-Bird ? (Linux)

Moving from Kubuntu 20.04 to Kubuntu 22.04
Trying to move Thunderbird 91.5.0 to a new computer and Thunderbird 102.4.2
I've been trying for hours now.

Is there a way to do this?
I'm going nuts.

Thunderbird 102 has a tools -> import feature that makes it easier to import an existing profile. It supports importing a .zip folder.

What I actually did.......

I copied the entire hidden .thunderbird sub-directory in the old computer.
Renamed it .thunderbird2
Pasted it in to the same directory as the hidden .thunderbird sub-directory in the new computer.
Deleted the .thunderbird sub-directory in the new computer.
Renamed .thunderbird2 sub-directory, .thunderbird.
Started it up and updated it.
Worked just right.

It just took a bit of time because the old .thunderbird sub-directory was over 21gb.
