Thunderbird often downloads only a few messages in a folder
I am using Thunderbird (on Mac) to get my gmail messages through IMAP. It happens quite often that when I try to get messages, Thunderbird downloads from a few folders but stops after a few messages. Is there a way to get this more stable?

Do those messages that are downloaded include images or other large files?
Try right clicking on the name of the folder receiving the message and selecting "Properties" and then on the "Repair folder" button.

No, I don't think the messages are any different. It seems "Repair" gets things moving again. It's downloading a whole bunch of messages right now.DanRaisch wrote:Do those messages that are downloaded include images or other large files?
