Question: One central inbox and html mail

Post by yo7777 »

Hi there,

I last tried thunderbird out a while ago, but felt outlook suited me better. I have since changed my mind and I'm thinking of trying thunderbird out once more.

The last time I used it, I didn't remember there being a way of integrating accounts into one central mailbox rather than having a separate box for each email account. Has this changed?

Also, I'd like to send html e-mails from time to time. Can I view the source in thunderbird? When I tried inserting an img tag into e-mails in outlook, it downloaded the image and ignored my html. I'd prefer that the image downloads at the client side. How does thunderbird behave on this point?

Thanks hugely,

Alex

If you want to have one central inbox, you can set up a catch all rule for each account and have it move the emails to one place.

Yeah, Id like to use thunderbird this way too. The rules arent a problem, but is there anyway to hide the nodes which represent the accounts?
Its just too klunky to use when you have 10+ pop accounts.

Thanks
