Yes. There were two as in the first profile (same with the second new profile).

Were they configured correctly with the accounts so that each used the correct SMTP server for sending?

It seemed that they were working fine, so i am assuming they were configured properly (probably not a good assumption) another surprise: My original (default) account has switched behaviors. I find this evening that I no longer am able to get the drop down of the two accounts to send from (just one of them appears) And the original problem of addressing is solved (identical behvior to that of the second user profile that I created)

If you have any specific questions or other info about the setup of the two outgoing servers please let me know.

I'm afraid this has me stumped because the accounts refuse to behave consistently.

Sometimes it just helps to talk to someone, and inconsistencies have their "up side." Presently, both addressing problems are working in the original user profile. Thank you for your help!
