Using Thunderbird 4, I used to be able to click on a webpage or blog to send an email. Something happened. Now I get an error msg that says,
"cannot send mail. No mail program is set up to send mail using internet shortcut."

What's wrong, how to I fix it.

Tnx et rgds,
Dan

thanks for your reply to my query about not being able to click on email links. i went to explorer, tolls, folder optioins, tile types but find no mailto: protocol.

either I misunderstand the directions or something is very goofy on my system.

can you be more explicit?

make sure it is set to where your tb exe file is then append -compose %1

For example:
C:\Program Files\mozilla\thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" -compose %1

oops, make sure there is an open quote
