Is it possible to edit messages that are in the inbox or to "post" a message to the inbox, as you can with Outlook? I use my mailer as a filing system and like to be able to add to "notes" I have already sent myself.

Thank you.

I don't think so. There is a 'Edit as new' option but you'll have to send the e-mail to yourself then.

You could edit the message while its stored in the inbox file. Its just a text file. Its fairly easy to tell where one message begins and ends.

You might want to keep your eye on 'Chandler'. Its intended to be as much a information organizer as a email client. Its next 'dot' release is scheduled for this february.
