Q regarding Language

Post by DrTeddy »

currently, I've installed Asian language pack on my XP pro and started using TB. I've had no prob with Eudora

my prob is:
When typing Asian launge, I'd press ALT+Shift, then right Alt to switch back and forth between English and Asian. After
composing my Email and when I clicked "Send" button, I get pop up box saying:
"The message you composed contains characters not found in the seelcted Character Coding, so your message may become unreadable after you send or save it. To send or save it anyway, click OK. To return to the Composer window where you can choose a different Character Coding, click Cancel."

How can I fix this problem???

thanks in advance

Before you send the message, go View > Character Coding and then select the proper language setting. You might also try tinkering with the language settings in Tools > Options > Fonts.

You've had no problems using Asian languages with Eudora??? On Windows? Which version of Eudora?

Interesting. I gave up on Eudora 5.2 after failing to get it to work well with Japanese. (There is a Japanese version of Eudora, but it's not free.)

I'm using Pro version if that makes any difference.
Eudora lacks Spam filter and that's why I've started using TB
