Calander for Thunderbird

Not sure if it is the exact same, but I had a problem where I could ope the calendar, but could not add events or see them. The dialog came up, but after entering information, and closing the dialog, no event was added

Eventually I got it to work by backing up my calendar file (an .ics extension, I think), and deleting (or just rename it, to be safe) the calendar subdirectory of thunderbird, and reinstalling Calendar. Then copy back your calendar file.

Try it and see if it works?
