Hide deleted messages

Hi,

I use Thunderbird with IMAP and when deleting messages they are marked as deleted (I don't want to use the trash folder).
But as I use filters to move messages into other folders - and when a message is moved, it also remains in the old place, just marked as deleted.

The problem: Thunderbird still shows the deleted messages, also marked as "unread", and I want to hide deleted messages automatically, to be able to recover mails if neccessary, but they should not be shown.

Is there a possibility to do that?
