Integrating Thunderbird Address Book with MS Word

We have an office we are trying to migrate from Outlook to Thunderbird + Calendar - the only sticking point is that they use the Outlook address book to populate MS Word's envelopes and labels function, and to insert addresses into business letters (so we can't just use a standalone label program). I know that Open Office integrates with the address book, but moving them to Open Office is not an option right now. We are running an LDAP server, and the users are logging in to an NT 4 domain.
