I tried Thunderbird yesterday on my XP computer, and I foudn it really great !
After having fun with it, I logoff to connect with my girlfriend login, and then, on the logon screen, when you have the listing of XP user, under my name, I saw "18 unread messages". That was the number of new message I had just before logoff...
Since, I always have this same value, BUT, I have no unread messages in my inbox !
How Thunderbird found this number ??? How to have the TRUE number of mail ?? Any idea about this function ???
