window maximize bug in windows xp

Post by sophana »

Hi

Just tried out this cool pirce of software.
But there is a BIG bug in windows XP when I maximize the window, the menus go in position 0,0 and the moving bar is simply disapearing.
To restore the window I have to right click in the icon in the window bar (at the bottom)

help welcome

sure

hmmm, how do you make a screenshot under xp?
I think there's a key combination, but I don't remember.

I have a matrox g450 dual screen. it does the same behavior on both screens.
It is the only app having a problem...

Just make a photograph of your monitor and upload it to some website.

I cannot see anything strange about your Thunderbird screenshot. What do you mean by 'menus go in position 0,0' ?

See coordinates 0, 0 of the attached image.

You'll notice that the menu bar has been drawn over top of the title bar.

I can't duplicate this with one monitor -- thus I'm guessing he may have issues with the dual monitor setup? (that I presume he has)

Ah, ok, now I see it. I can't test with dual monitor setup, but maybe someone else has the same issues. What OP could do is change the title of this thread to attract 'other' people. Put dual monitor in it?

I'm having the same problem and am running a Matrox G450 with dual monitors. See the following thread that I posted for more info: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... 775#472775

Has anybody found a solution for this?

I had a dual monitor system a couple months back and it worked fine with mine. I was using a GeForce4 ti 4600. It might be the Matrox card?

Yeah, I think it's something to do with Matrox and not dual monitors. I really wish they would fix this because IE sucks and Firefox rules, but until then, I'm stuck with IE. :(
