What is a "background HTML"? Do you want a color, an image?
Extensions for Thunderbird: <a href="http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_cs">Contacts Sidebar</a>, <a href="http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_ts">Timestamp</a> and <a href="http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_aes">Allow Empty Subject</a>

I used to have in Outlook some color text as the foot note that appeared in every email that was sent from me (like signature but with colors, using Outlook as word, and use a nice tapmlate)...
Is there a way to add a teplate instaed of plain white background???
Thx

I think you need a HTML formated signature file instead of a template. In a signature file you can add any HTML you want. Just do not add the <html> and <body> tags to your signature.
