I try to use thunderbird 0.5 with RH8.0

#rpm -qa | grep -i gtk2
pygtk2-1.99.12-7
gtk2-2.0.6-8
gtk2-engines-1.9.0-4
pygtk2-libglade-1.99.12-7

I get the following warning and thunderbird never starts.

(Gecko:4547): Gdk-WARNING **: gdkdrawable-x11.c:787 drawable is not a pixmap or window

Do I have to upgrade my gtk2 version? or there is some other solution?
