Hello,
may anyone tell me, why
- Thunderbird cannot import mail from a netscape communicator installed on another pc in the LAN ?
- Thunderbird aborts import from communicator mail (9G) due to lack of space when 28G are available ?
- Not all imported folders can bee accessed by thunderbird, even when the folders are present on the disk after import ?
- Thunderbird is working extremely slow under Win2K ?
Thanks & regards

To import you rmail copy ovet the mbox files frkom your communincator install to the profile of thunderbird, restart thunderbird and all mail should be present.
9gb is allot of mail dunno if thunderbird is able to handle that much :\
Thunderbird is wrorking fast for me under XP, you can try an optimized build, to see if that makes a difference: http://scragz.com/files/mozilla/

Ok, you're right, this way of "import" is working.
But as a normal user, I'd expect that the function "import of NS-Mail" is not only working on the current machine.
It's an old, angry thing, realized in the same way also in Mozilla and Netscape 7.x ...
I think this should work better.
