Eudora support

I have downloaded Eudora V5 and am looking for my out- or sentbox and also my group mailing list that seem to be lost. Can you please tell me where I can go for Eudora support?

Qualcomm has stopped developing the original Eudora. Eudora 8 is an open source application based on enhancements to Thunderbird. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Eudora if you're interested in using that.

Thanks for your response. Sorry, my mistake, it is Eudora 8 that I have downloaded but there is no out- or sent box. Also when importing the address book I lost my group mailing list. I don't know who I can ask for a solution to this problem.

You are in the right place to ask other users for help about Eudora 8, though most of the users in this forum don't use it or Penelope.

Its been over a decade since I used Eudora so I don't remember whether it had send/receive like Outlook Express does. If so http://kb.mozillazine.org/Outbox should help.

I suspect all of the contacts for the mailing list are there, just not the actual mailing list. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Mailing_lists

Thank you so much. I have been to Eudora Forum but find no place to post a question. I am not sure how to use your references above like "!--m-- etc."
I have used Eudora for many years but had to run a recovery on my computer. I had a backup but had to reinstall programs. When I was downloading Eudora I took version 8 by mistake. I got all my messages and addresses imported from Eudora 7 except my outbox and group mailing list that seem to be lost. Eudora 7 has an outbox and I meant to save the last messages I had sent but forgot. I was hoping to find a way to recover these.

Eudora used mbox folders too so you can use the ImportExportTools extension to import a folder. The main problem is that they're not sanitized. See the Eudora Rescue section of http://kb.mozillazine.org/Importing_fro ... hunderbird
