Single Page Archive Files

Post by ebix »

First, let me say that I love Phoenix--it was a happy day when I stopped using IE6. The one feature from IE that I do miss and would love to see added to Phoenix is the ability to save html files as single page archive files (IE uses a .mht extension). These little babies are nice if you want to access a page offline, save a confirmation after a purchase, etc.

Yes! Just like that. Hmmm... I'm going to just assume that the issue is being worked. Thanks!

Have you seen the bug-number? 40873 is pretty low (currently we are somewhere between 180000 and 190000) - so i suppose that nobody is really interested in this rfe.

personally i store web-pages as 'webpage, complete' ... after some time i zip the files and backup them. i 've to unzip the file if i want to view it's contents, but this is the best solution for mozilla, as there is no other available until mozilla 2.5 or something (i don't believe that this feature will be implemented sooner :-(
