getting seamonkey tabs to look like firefox tabs

Post by lawquest »

For what its worth, I prefer the appearance of tabs in Firefox. They seem to stand out better, which facilitates moving from one tab to another. And the "x" on the firefox tab makes closing the tab simpler. So, when in google docs, I use firefox. Otherwise, I use seamonkey.

Anyone know how I could get the tabs in Seamonkey to look and act like the tabs in Firefox? I would prefer not having to load firefox at all. Nothing wrong with firefox, mind you. Just a preference.

Though the Sea Tab X extension requires either Seamonkey 2.0 or 2.1.
It won't install nor work under Seamonkey 1.x versions though.

Well, I tried Sea Tab X and it said it loaded, but, on restarting seamonkey 2.0.6 (now 2.0.7) I could see no change in the tabs. I will try it again, perhaps this weekend, when I have more time.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I just tried SeaTab X and it works nicely eventhough at Seamonkey add on, said it is not compatible with ver 2.11. I got this extension at CatThief, here is the link. I appologize if I violate forum rules.
