In older versions of SeaMonkey as recent as 2.0, one was able to right-click a folder and select it to be the one from which the bookmarks bar was built.
This feature has disappeared and I would very much like it back.
Reason being is it makes sharing bookmarks between browsers much easier.

Re: Bring back Use as Personal Toolbar option
You may be able to approximate that (from Bookmarks Manager) by dragging (copy is probably better, actually) the particular folder to the "new" Personal Toolbar. Added as a folder, you will get a dropdown. If you selected & copied all the links in the folder, & pasted them into the Personal Toolbar, they would display as individual "icons".
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Takes a lot of time to import-export bookmarks between SM 1.1, 2.0 and 2.1
