HTML editor - normal and source views

Post by canalrun »

Hello,
I use the editor feature in SeaMonkey as my main HTML editor – works very nicely.

One feature that is desperately needed: the cursor position should be maintained when switching between the Normal and Source views.

That is, if you have the cursor positioned just before a word or other item in the Normal view, when you switch to Source view the cursor should be positioned within the HTML code at the corresponding location. This is done in other HTML editors I have used. It is extremely useful.

Thanks,
Barry.
