What port does Seamonkey use to check for updates?

Post by Zosimos »

A previous installation of Debian 5 that I was running Mozilla Seamonkey on (not the "IceApe" mod) could not find updates. I constantly had to update it manually. All I could figure out was the firewall I had installed (Firestarter from the Debian repositories) was blocking the check for new versions. Since I'd like my laptop to be as secure as possible, I am thinking of installing a firewall again. But if it cuts off updates again, it'll be very annoying. Can someone tell me what port Seamonkey uses to check for updates? Then maybe I could open that port and still get the updates automatically.
