Feature request:search option suggestion

Post by leek »

Some essential features missing in SM: multiple search engines, search suggestion, close tab button,
image blocking add on.Also SM doesn't support IDM and can't go directly to sites from url bar after clicking ENTER.Old Firefox 3.6 had all of these features. Please add search option suggestion, it's very important for all users.

The SeaTab X extension places a close button on each individual tab, both browser and mail, and removes the program's default single tabbrowser-tabs close button.

IDM ?

> can't go directly to sites from url bar after clicking ENTER

Explain?
Fire 750, bring back 250.

SeaMonkey allows you to chose from multiple search engines, but only one can be active.

Click Edit / Preferences / Internet Search then as shown below:

Search suggestions are available. Just as in Firefox, open the "Manage Search Engines" window and make sure that the checkbox for:
[X] Show search suggestions
is checked.

This works exactly the same way as Firefox.
