(Ctrl+Shift+P. That will change at some point because there is a conflict with Mail.)
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Hmm, how can a browser window have a keyboard-shortcut conflict with a mail window?

Suppose there isn't an actual conflict in that respect, other then you have the same shortcut key providing different actions depending on what part of the "browser" you are using. (It was brought up in #seamonkey. I'm all for leaving it as 'P'.)

Ctrl+Shift+P is used by both Firefox and Internet Explorer to open a private window, thus it wouldn't be a good idea to change. As far as I can see, it's not even used in the Mail & News window, though using it there actually opens a new private window as well (but then, Ctrl+Shift+N opens a Composer window in either a Browser or Mail & News window, so that's consistent).

so, Private Browsing poll
18:43 NeilAway current key Ctrl+Shift+P (that Firefox uses) conflicts with Check Spelling in Composer and Message Compose
18:44 NeilAway but that key is shared with Thunderbird so we can't change it
18:44 NeilAway we can change the Private Browsing key of course, but what to?

18:49 ThurahT ctrl +g and ctrl f does the same thing. So perhaps ctr+g as in inconGnito?

That won't work, "Find" and "Find Again" have two very subtle but different meanings. Thunderbird went into that trap as well and wanted to combine those two, see bug 575018.

B(P)rivate , B(P)ublic, B(P)arent, B(P)un . We should change all the spellings . Much more funny that way.
