The code he posted was already in SeaTab X and doesn't make the difference. I'm going to have to do some serious digging to figure out what the issue is, but I suspect is a very very tiny code grammar issue... and those are very hard to swat.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

Ok, found the snippet. Turns out it was the CSS that was broken. When I created a new profile I forgot to disable the XUL cache which made it difficult to track down. Have emailed CatThief about it. It is up to her if she wants to post an official version so SM users don't have to download from a Russian site. ;)

Hi,

I found my problem! I had a Stylish script that was interfering. After altering Stylish, my icon shows now! Thanks for helping me troubleshoot the missing button. If you hadn't mentioned it in your post, I never would have known that there was a New Tab Button available. I owe you a beer! :D

Good to know. If CatThief decides to release a new version, please let us know. I would like to get it from the originator of the add-on. =D>

I know this thread is getting a little rancid, but I just wanted to make sure that you all know that I'm now currently supporting my fork of SeaTab X with CatTheif's permission and graces. Please read the description as it is not a 100% copy, but requires some manual preference changes to work as expected:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamon ... eatab-x-2/

As I have just uploaded this, it may take a few days to appear.

Hi Patrick,

Are you planning on removing this feature from SeaFox?

Nope. Just wanted to make it available for people who don't want the rest of SeaFox features since CatTheif is no longer interested in maintaining it, and no-one else has stepped up.

That's good. I won't need another add-on. =D>

Works great! Exactly what I needed for using SeaMonkey on my HTPC. =D>
