General password and email protection

I have noticed that I could access my emails even if I have set a principal password to Seamonkey and I don't enter that password.
It is written it protects only web passwords.

Is there a way to make SM's principal password necessary to access emails? or anything else to protect emails in SM?

Thanks for any help or indication.
