a feature to copy the tootips or image description

Post by Michael REMY »

hi,

Many times i need to copy the content in the tooltips of images or just from web area.
by example, this page :
http://www.imdb.com/awards-central/peop ... d=20184311

no name are displayed; only tooltips contains information, so i would like to copy-past them.

it would be useful, it seamonkey could have his kinf of option in the COPY contextual menu on an image...

have a good day

Is it too difficult to right click on the image and get the tooltip text from the Properties?
But then again, I may be wrong.

Depending on the image(s) you can drag your cursor across it(them)--to get the blue selection overlay--and just do a normal copy (context menu or ctrl+c) to grab the alternate text (usually the same as the tooltip) and then paste it (them if you do multiple images). This works in many places, but not everywhere.

Hey, Mozilla... are you sure you wish to do this? (bug 1121291)
