Has anyone found a case changer addon for 2.40 mail? The ones posted for Thunderbird will not install on Seamonkey.
Thanks

Re: case changer for Seamonkey Mail
I used the converter on this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... e-changer/
Installed the converted .xpi and it works great.
I put it on my OneDrive account for now: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=5 ... file%2cxpi
How do I get this put someplace where anyone can get it? I don't want to leave it on OneDrive for long.

(name changed as link didn't like those [] brackets)
It'll stay there for as long as you like and people know me and know it's safe to install from me.

Thank you.
How do I look to see what is there? I really don't like a link to starts a download, much prefer a page where the download is available and gives you a clue as to what it is.
Do you have an index of some kind.

Hover over the link and look at the statusbar to see what it is. Then, right click and 'Save Target As'.Ztruker wrote:How do I look to see what is there? I really don't like a link to starts a download.
You realise how insulting and ungrateful that sounds, right?Ztruker wrote:... much prefer a page where the download is available and gives you a clue as to what it is.

Download the xpi per Frank Lion's instructions, then unzip it (& unjar any inner .jar files, if needed). Then, provided there aren't any binary components in the addon or some such thing, you'll have all the code available to examine at your leisure.Ztruker wrote:How do I look to see what is there?
Out of curiosity, if you don't like to use link to download, then how do you prefer to find out where to get the download?Ztruker wrote:I really don't like a link to starts a download,
Clicking this link will take you to such a page: http://franklion.co.uk/index.htmlZtruker wrote:much prefer a page where the download is available and gives you a clue as to what it is.

Re: case changer for Seamonkey Mail
I have installed and activated it in SeaMonkey and want to use it for SeaMonkey Mail, but do not see the link to use it. I have right clicked on the text and also checked each drop menu.
Please let me know how to use it.
Thanks

Looks like that case changer addon is browser-window-specific, meaning it won't work in SeaMonkey Mail without significant modifications.

And the .jar's (in this case) are actually ZIP's too, so you can 'unzip any inner .jar files, if needed' .(& unjar any inner .jar files, if needed)

I do now, sorry Frank. I could have worded my question better. Many thanks for hosting it.Frank Lion wrote:Hover over the link and look at the statusbar to see what it is.
