I have an existing email acct, but would like to add a gmail acct. What servers/setting/stmp/ etc do I need. Please keep it basic - I'm a novice! tx

I did everything in the directions, but keep getting this message when I try to log on:

Sending of password for user msatwine did not succeed. Mail server pop.gmail.com responded: Web login required: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78754

Did you enable POP access in the settings on the Google webmail page?

If you already have the account set up in SeaMonkey but can't log into it: In "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings" > your account > "Server Settings", there's an Authentication option, and OAuth2 is one of the options. Select that, and then the next time you try to get new email, SeaMonkey will show you the Gmail login window.

It does say Mozilla Thunderbird even though it's in SeaMonkey (this was a feature that Thunderbird added and it was in code SeaMonkey uses too.)

AFAIK this is the "web login" process that Gmail refers to. There are ways to get it working without this too.
