Can't find "Go to Top" and "-100+" zoom addon

Post by George59 »

Hi,

I just recently switched to SM from FF and I'm trying to customize my SM to features that I already got used to in FF:

"Go to top" and "Go to Bottom" right click menu options
and
my favorite Zoom addon "-100+"

but I'm having a real hard time to find not greyed out addon for these features.

Am I doing something wrong or indeed the add-on options for SM are really as poor as it seems to me?

This tool might be able to convert a Firefox extension to work in SeaMonkey:
http://addonconverter.fotokraina.com/
It doesn't always work but it's still really helpful.

Also, is -100+ the name of the addon? That's really hard to search for.

These three are my most favorite and useful add-ons in FF:
(besides the usual ones: AdBlock, NoScript and some Youtube video/mp3 downloaders)

Zoom Page
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... zoom-page/

http://softwarebychuck.com/backtotop/backtotop.html

Clear Console
http://penzil-clearconsole.blogspot.hu/

I tried to download the Zoom Page to have it converted, but I couldn't download it in FF, it kept trying to install it.

The Zoom Page is grate because you can preselect your favorite zoom value, also, when you're zooming in or out with Ctrl + and -, you can see the actual percentage on the menu bar.

The Back to Top puppy is great because you can invoke them in the context menu anytime, anywhere.

The Clear Console is a great cache, history, password, etc. cleaning tool that I use several times a day just to make it harder for any spying activities.

You don't necessarily need to download for http://addonconverter.fotokraina.com/, you can just paste the link to it in there.

If you do want to download, the /versions/ page is usually "easier".
Append /versions/ to the URL.
So, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/

If you do want to download, AMO makes it a *PITA* to download except when using firefox!
So that could be the easiest way.
You can do it with SeaMonkey, but generally need to disable JavaScript, otherwise you're just presented with some dumb-ass green (I think it was) blob.

(Do you see my blood pressure rising when I speak of this.)

Might be better to test (whether things work or not) in a test Profile.
Fire 750, bring back 250.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.19) Gecko/20110420 SeaMonkey/2.0.14 Pinball CopyURL+ FetchTextURL FlashGot NoScript

Great! Thank you guys for the converter link, it works like a charm. I couldn't convert the "Clear Console" addon, but later I will try to find a substitute. But the other two works great now.
