When the mailbox starts and when 'get msgs' command is given, this dialog box appears.

Also, I suddenly can't open gmail in the browser except in a dumbed down format.
It says that the browser is obsolete.

I had to use Microsoft Edge to get into my account and turn off the 2-step verification.
I don't know why it was activated, but turning it off solved the problem.
My POP mail is back to functional.
Trying to use Seamonkey to change security settings gets a screen saying to upgrade to a new program.

Thanks for this report... I saw this issue today when I restarted SeaMonkey and it went for the GMail account - but since I had just read your warning a couple of days ago, I knew what to do.
