new profile???

Post by shakushinnen »

Hi,
SeaMonkey is behaving oddly of late. It sometimes just refuses to close, to the point where I have to resort to the task manager to kill it. If anyone can suggest a possible solution, please let me know. Otherwise I will transfer my email addresses and bookmaks to the new profile. I'm thinking that transferring the settings may not be a good idea, since they could be the problem?
Thanks,
.... john

Hi ElTxolo,
Thanks for the links. I regularly clear the private data, so that's not likely it. It could be the emoticon app, or something I've changed in the configuration.
I've created a new profile, and installed the bookmarks from the old profile, and reverted back to Thunderbird for now. So I'll see how that works, before going any further.
Thanks again,
..... john
