Warning about usesing Seamonkey From Website 2.53.13

Post by bigjeff66 »

I have been a seamonkey user since it came out. I really like it. One problem I have been having lately is getting warnings from website about using Seamonkey. Most sites will let me continue, some won't let me do anything. Just freezes. If I paste the website into Firefox every thing works fine. According to the description seamonkey is the same backend. I have wiped old version of seamonkey and started fresh with version 2.53.13. Changed identify as firefox, nothing works. Has this been a problem for other users? Is there a way to fix this.
Thanks for your help

Questions:
Do you use a useragent override for that site?
i.e. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.53.13
Is useragent you're using to visit Mozillazine.
You need to identify the website for other user to help you?
If he website is just browser sniffing?
Use a useragent that identifies you as coming from Firefox.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 FireFox/68

If other avenues don't work, like a UA change, you'll just have to use something else.
Fire 750, bring back 250.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.19) Gecko/20110420 SeaMonkey/2.0.14 Pinball CopyURL+ FetchTextURL FlashGot NoScript
