Gyazo Not Working Since Last Update
I'm running 2.53.10.2, in this version and the last one, Gyazo's can't be seen on the tab that opens when I make the Gyazo.
This happened in the previous version too.
The URL for the Gyazo is valid, I can copy it to Chrome and it shows in the tab.
I have "forgotten" all of Gyazo in the data manager, and it still does this.
I even tried removing and reinstalling Seamonkey.
This happens on both my desktop machine, and my laptop, so I don't think it's something that I checked, chose or changed.
Both are running the same Seamonkey version.
Could this be a bug?

No problem loading Gyazo.com here, running SeaMonkey 2.53.10.2 under Win 10. Does the same thing happen if you launch the application in Safe Mode? Menu path Help->Trouble Shooting Information->Restart with add-ons disablled?

Re: Gyazo Not Working Since Last Update
No matter what I do it will not work.
I've reinstalled Gyazo, removed all references to it from Seamonkey.
Reinstalled Seamonkey, still can't see any Gyazo with Seamonkey.
Yes it does it in Safe Mode too.
Also , and intermittently, I can't log in, and if I do, I can't post replies.
I click "submit" and I'm sent to the login page with the message, "You have to be logged in to post a reply".
this is the first time I've been able to post here since my post on the 7th.

Re: Gyazo Not Working Since Last Update
Use an old user-agent. Anything prior to Firefox 78 will do. Starting with FF 78 the server sends a script with new syntax that SeaMonkey doesn't support (because apparently wasting energy on ancient stuff used by 0.0001% of internet users worldwide (IRC) had higher priority), so you get a blank page.
0) Open about:config?filter=userag, i.e. open about:config and filter by userag (type userag in the search field at the top).
1) Enable site-specifig user-agent overrides by setting general.useragent.site_specific_overrides to true (double-click the entry to toggle true/false).
2) Create a site-specific key for gyazo named general.useragent.override.gyazo.com
3) Double-click and set it to an old user-agent, e.g. Firefox 60: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0

This is a test reply, apparently the forums have been repaired.

Re: Gyazo Not Working Since Last Update
Gyazo is still not working, despite many Seamonkey updates.
The URL appears on the location bar, but nothing appears on the browser window.
I can copy and paste the URL to Chrome, and it works just fine.

Try this suggestion:Mudhaid wrote:Gyazo is still not working, despite many Seamonkey updates.

If it will not help then install this extension:
https://github.com/martok/palefill/rele ... l-1.23.xpi
User Agent override (Fx 78) could be good idea too.

Ah, NO. The browser should just work.
It's not my job to install extensions and hacks to make it work.
Firefox works, Chrome works.
I'm not a programmer, I don't alter the tools I'm using to make them work.
I'm not an internet blacksmith.
Seamonkey also is failing on Facebook, as we have seen repeatedly.

You failed! You have possible solution (it worked for me, at least without log-in) but you refused to do a little step forward, just to grab it. Spoiled brat...

Re: Gyazo Not Working Since Last Update
Once again.
It's not my job to make the browser work right.
Insults such as "spoiled brat" don't make the coders fix what isn't working.
When my sawzall or my leaf blower don't work properly, the manufacturer doesn't tell me to take them apart and alter them with some hack so they kinda hobble forward and more or less perform.
It's not my job to make the tool named Sea Monkey work right.
I'm an end user, not a programmer.
I'm just pointing out here that its NOT working, and has not for over a year.
Of course the solution, which has worked just fine, is to just use Chrome.

Guess what, it's nobody else's job here either, they are all volunteers. You've stumbled across an Open Source program, where people all have other jobs.Mudhaid wrote: It's not my job to make the browser work right.
I bet you paid more for those than you did to use SeaMonkey. When my sawzall or my leaf blower...
You honestly think people are going to get into arguments with you here over some nonentity of a website? Nope, you go take your zero effort and attitude and give it to someone who actually gives a damn.

Re: Gyazo Not Working Since Last Update
A browser is not a hammer or a sawzall or a toaster. It's a computer program trying to interact with other computer programs. Changes to either the browser OR the web site code can cause problems. It that reality is unacceptable to you than perhaps the appropriate course for you is to switch to Chrome or Firefox or another browser.Mudhaid wrote:Once again.
