My issue is I cannot update because I don't have the system permission.
I downloaded the packages on my personal folder, but I can`t open the update.
Is there an option to include the SeaMonkey updates on the system`actualization of
Ubuntu 20.4 LTS?
Thanks in advance
Aldo

I take it you downloaded the tarbal archive version from https://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/

The basics is to extract the tar in a folder and run seamonkey as there is no installer or package etc. Make sure the user account has read/write permissions for the seamonkey folder in order to get internal updates for Seamonkey. If you are the only user then a easy way is to have the Seamonkey folder be in Home.

Thanks for your advice. The new update, a tar version, is on my home folder,
but I can`t launch it, because I don`t have the permissions. But I do have
permissions on my ubuntu 20.4 account. The best solution would be for me
to include sea monkey updates into the ubuntu automatic updates applications
like firefox for instance. Is this way possible?
