Version 2 always opens the home page no matter what desktop web page icon I click on.
Dropping a file into an existing SM page works ok, so does the "Open File" menu. Have I missed a preference here?

As I remember before when I dropped a HTML file on the Seamonkey icon, the file would open and then I could edit the html. Now when I drop the file on the Seamonkey icon it opens my start-up page which is set for my homepage. I too wonder why this is now happening. Is this a new bug to be reported?
This f@#kn confirmation code-crap is too scrambled also... it's ridiculous. I can't tell the numbers from the letters. third try.

Appears this may be a Mac issue. A number of similar recent posts.

Here, Bug 521699 - Double clicking on saved web page opens home page.

Enter the code exactly as it appears. All letters are case insensitive, there is no zero.
