None of that is what I want.
I want to force the Zoom to ALWAYS use 150% as it did in 2.1x.
They changed it to site-specific and now I have to set each site I visit the first time.
That's ok for me, but not for others who use the browser with other profiles.
I want ALL websites to display at 150% for the entire page and NOT just text.
This was a big improvement in the 2.1x over the old 1.9x series -- the full-page zoom
was fantastic on new widescreen computers. I want that functionality back.

As I said, I tried that and it seemed to work and then it didn't anymore. Instead, it made me choose nothing less than 150%
when going to the zoom menu, but otherwise defaulted to 100%. It did not work as advertised...

Thanks.
That's I good one to know. I've never liked that "feature".
Fire 750, bring back 250.

I just want all webpages to display at 150% all the time.
I could do that with 2.0x, but I have to set each website in 2.1x.
This is progress?...

Yes I see - Zoom.minPercent begins to work only after user set any zooming to the site (page) - not for all sites automatically.

NoSquint let ones specify the zoom. It is working in 2.0.x, but not later versions anymore.
A worthy candidate for SM ports, I think.

Maybe Firefox will get around to it...

What was your prefs in SM 2.0.14?
I think there were any extension (NoSquint or other) there and the extension kept 150% always for all.

This is progress?...
Development is not a progress - it's changing one things to another. ))

9 years ago Mozilla 1.0 could save as webpage complete almost all pages perfectly.
Now SeaMonkey 2.1 and Firefox 4.0.1 save maybe half of pages perfectly or less.

Full Regress.

The 2.1 New Release Page is saying that setting each website and remembering it is progress.
I think it is a terrible thing to impose without recourse to a global setting.
It means that there is yet another catalog in my profile of every webpage I've ever visited!
And every webpage I ever visit for the first time will have to be set.
How difficult could it be to allow global selection?
I think the setting was made through the 'View' tab -- simply selecting 150% held that value globally.
That's what I would like to see restored -- or through the Edit>Preferences or Appearance. Somewhere...

What do you mean when you use word "restored"?
I don't see it in SM 2.0.14.

As for me I use minimum font size - 16 pixels and I don't need minimum in percents but I agree with you - minimum % globally is (will be) a good function.

Maybe it was the NoSquint feature.
I had it installed, but I didn't think I was using it.
I got a new computer in November and have used the 150% ever since.
I think I simply went to the 'View' tab and selected 'Zoom' and entered 150%.
I tried to do the same for the Mail window, but it would not remember the value there.
I had forgotten that I had NoSquint installed -- it integrated itself into the program nicely.
Have you tried it? I still have the icon -- a small magnifier with a + sign at the bottom of my screen.
There is a '100%' next to it, even though I am zoomed to 150% -- this indicates that it is not working
with the new 2.1 program, I suppose. You should try the NoSquint and see if it makes a permanent
and global change in the entire webpage and not just the type. Forcing a Font Minimum is a poor choice
because it causes crowding of text and graphics. I used that feature for years prior to the NoSquint...

In the about:addons page, there is the NoSquint and it does NOT say that it is incompatible and it is NOT disabled.
It is, however, not working with the new program. The PrefBar addon is not compatible and it says so. Strange...
