Select Settings in top right to change to metric or register to be able to have this setting persisting.

LoveMyFoxy,

Found a new one, but it won't show up in SeaMonkey. This is the weather extension I use with PaleMoon.

Weather Forecast Plus 0.31

If anybody can figure out how to make it work with SeaMonkey, I find it much better than Forecastfox (Accuweather)... this one is from Weather dot com. I put the XPI up on Mega for free, non-login download. Here is the link.

Did somebody managed to make it compatible with SeaMonkey 2.53.1?

I know that latest version is WebExtension but older 1.5 is compatible with Tb 60.x so it could work with SM 2.53.x:
https://addons.thunderbird.net/pl/thund ... ersion-1.5
... but it's not working.

Sure, I can install it after conversion but something is missing (must be changed?).

Lately I've got dire need to use templates when replying to e-mails. Is there (somewhere) other extension that will offer templates for reply?

(As a start, SeaMonkey 2.53 is more FF 56 [+ some additions from later versions], so 60 could be pushing it.
That said, & not that I know anything of QT nor Mail, even QT 1.1 doesn't seem to be working.
It installs, you can set up "stuff". [No real clue what I'm doing.] But I don't see how to accomplish the paste part. And there are no status bar buttons [or similar], though it does show up in Tools.)
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Looks like QuickText extension (1.1-1.5) requires specific UI/prefs parameters... or some Tb 60.x changes didn't hit SM 2.53.x.

I was able to set some templates and they were saved. But trying to set access to QT in context menu or by shortcuts (e.g. Alt+1) weren't possible - "Save" button in "Option" didn't work.

Lesson no. one...

Trying to get PreMid working, but it says "install.rdf not found in installer", and when I install the unconverted version, it says successful but no icon shows up? https://premid.app/downloads

Yep, it is pretty confusing.

If the Convertor says "install.rdf not found in installer" it means the extension is a webextension, which will, as you found out, install but not work.

I don't know PreMid at all, but you'd need a pre-Firefox 57 version of it to convert successfully. i.e. a 'legacy' version, not a webextension version.

That is a WebExtension. It will not work in SM, converted or not.

IIUC, extensions for SeaMonkey are not at addons.mozilla.org any longer but at https://addons.thunderbird.net/

Classical extensions (not WebExtensions) mostly work with SeaMonkey 2.53.x and lower. The latest "official" such release is 2.53.5.1, available from https://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/ and also published by openSUSE Linux on their Update-OSS repository for openSUSE Leap 15.2 (I don't know about other distros or OSes). SeaMonkey 2.53.6b1pre nightlies are avilable unofficially for Linux32, Linux64, Win32, Win64 and Mac in .en-US and .de localizations from http://www.wg9s.com/comm-253/ I use that, and I have a lot of extensions, many of which give me no problem; but use it at your own risk, and take a backup of your profile before you try if you want to be able to go back to whatever you used before.
Best regards,
Tony

Hello ,

i have two requests - please make those compatible.

one is deemed for older seamonkey (it is built for ff45+ but not for quantum) and the other one should function with newer seamonkey (ff50+)

older xpi (mpv-youtube-dl-binding)
https://github.com/antoniy/mpv-youtube-dl-binding
(download)> https://github.com/antoniy/mpv-youtube- ... lpha.2.xpi

newer xpi (ff2mpv)
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ff2mpv/
https://github.com/woodruffw/ff2mpv
(download)> https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/down ... 3.7-fx.xpi

i have a good hope that atleast the older xpi could be made compatible. tried with the extension converter, it would install, but would not function.
maybe someone can make this more compatible here.

EDIT: from what i read here, the newer ff2mpv couldbe be a webextension, and will then most probably not work.
