I'm aware of the autoexportHTML control parameter and do have that set on. However, the bookmarks.html method is a deprecated method and I avoid using HTML bookmarks import these days. As for PLACES.SQLITE copying, I'm aware of that also but it is because precisely that I don't want browsing history to be overwritten on the target computer that I use the bookmarks restore function instead.
